Some choose to pay privately for therapy because it offers greater privacy, flexibility, and control over their care. Paying out of pocket allows individuals to seek support without the requirements of insurance companies, while also giving them more freedom in the frequency and length of treatment. In some cases, people also find that high insurance deductibles make paying privately a comparable and simpler option.
